Here are some of our favorite WebQuests:

This webquest if for Preschool aged children (and would require an adult reader) and relates to comparing. It brings the student through a series of activities to determine if a lion can be classified as a cat.

This WebQuest is about World War II. I alway found this topic is be very interesting. Most people know a loved one who either took part in this war or lived during this war. Making an activity that would making learning about a horrible time in history more interesting and memorable is a great way to teach this topic.

As much as today's children need to know about the terrible tragedy, I don't think it is appropriate to teach this topic to them in this format. I was taken aback when I was reading through this.

This WebQuest caught my eye because the topic is open for the students to choose. Most elementary students enjoy the zoo, and all students can work on a different animal.
This WebQuest is simple, fun, and would be a good introduction to WebQuests for a teacher who is new to this way of teaching; it's simplicity is attractive.

This WebQuest was interesting to me because I teach a unit on the life cycle of frogs in the Spring. There are great videos for the students to watch, links to visit and even frog noises. The WebQuest is simplistic, which is important because I am teaching first graders.
